Interlock & driveways.
Interlocking paver driveways, walkways and courtyards in Innisfil & Simcoe County, built on a base that won't heave or sink. Since 2004.
Big D installs interlocking paver driveways, walkways and courtyards across Innisfil and Simcoe County. The right base depth and edge restraints keep the surface flat and stable through Ontario winters. Each driveway is quoted on-site.
An interlock driveway is the first thing people see and the surface that takes the most abuse — vehicles, plows, road salt and frost. Done properly, it stays level and looks sharp for decades and can be lifted and re-laid if you ever need to.

What we install
What's included
- Interlock paver driveways
- Front walkways and entry paths
- Courtyards and parking pads
- Border and banding detail
- Edge restraints to lock the field
- Polymeric sand joints to resist weeds
Why interlock lasts
Unlike a poured slab that cracks, interlock flexes with the ground and individual pavers can be replaced. The longevity comes from the base — we dig to proper depth, compact in lifts and restrain the edges so nothing shifts.
Common questions
Is interlock better than asphalt or concrete?
For looks and longevity, many homeowners prefer it — and unlike concrete it won't crack across the whole surface. We'll compare options for your driveway.
Will weeds grow between the pavers?
We use polymeric jointing sand that hardens to resist weeds and ants and keeps the joints tidy.
Can you remove my old driveway?
Yes — removal and disposal of the existing surface is part of the job.
